I like mesquite. I have some of Andy's work in the shop and it's nice! |

Agreed - Andy offers truly top quality processing. His faux bound boards have provided a wonderful foundation for a number of projects I've started recently. A great guy to work with. |

Hey that's a nice looking quarter sawn oak table behind that beautiful guitar neck too. You could make some nice guitars outta that! |

In fact Andy made me an oak neck out of a piece of plantation grown material that was planted before 1760. It turned out lighter in weight than some mahogany necks: https://www.flickr.com/photos/ruby1638/21142694506/in/album-72157649776959267/ Ed |

I would love to take it apart and make some necks. Unfortunately it's my parents. But I have thought about it.[GRINNING FACE WITH SMILING EYES] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

That oak guitar is pretty sweet. Some real nice ray fleck on that one. I think it makes great necks and I used it for bridges too, dyed black with iron/vinegar solution. |
